Tarter's Calf Creep Feeders hold 650 lbs. and 1,000 lbs. of feed and also feature adjustable feed control bands and a high quality cage, ensuring larger animals can not access valuable feed.

Creep feeding can have your calves ready for market sooner, and in great condition! It’s a way to provide calves with extra nutrients by using a gate to restrict the access of cows, to the feeding area. Tarter’s Calf Creep Feeder and cage is a great set up to make sure calves get the additional food they need - to maximize their growth. Our feeder saves you time and keeps a free flow of food to calves, and is ideal for small to medium sized herds. We’ve designed two models - this one has a 650 lb. feed capacity, and a larger one holding a thousand pounds - that allows more calves to eat at one time, and you don’t have to feed as often. 30 calves can feed out of the thousand pound capacity unit for one week. The attached cage allows calves to access feed through openings that are large enough for them - but small enough to keep cows out. The thousand pound capacity model also has one more feed opening, that calves can access. There’s also an adjustable gate bar to accommodate various calf sizes. Our creep feeders will last a long time. They are powder-coated for weatherproof.
